Unfortunately, lust can control our life if
we don't crush it!
Lust comes from our nature inside, and if we let it be boss, we will pay a BAD price.
We are commanded in scripture to keep away from sexual immorality, we
are also told by Jesus that God views us viewing women lustfully as commiting adultery, in other words- sinning- disobeying
God.
so its not an opotion, if we dont kill it, it will take us away from
God, like the parable of the son who wanted to do life his way, he was way off track, in fact it was like he was in death.
Gods word also says that the result of sinning is death.
So stay alive and turn from sin, obey what God says and he will be with
you, and that is a very very good thing. In fact, that is Gods plan for our life, that we turn from sin(repent) recieve forgiveness,
and maintain a clean life, this is THE MINIMUM requirement of a christian. Anything else is Satans deception to
trap us, and try to keep us so that we are away from God, And dead, unless we escape and stop sinning and obey God. So do
that right NOW!
Some other effects of sinning inin lust
are:
It damages our friendships(they become OBJECTive). It damages our relationships- they are not satisfying as our imagination/lust
is what we get used to so normal relationship(which is the best) doesn't stimulate as it should because an IDOL/IMAGE is the
normal stimulating thing.
It causes us to only ever see people/pictures as to be desired rather than as they are, Gods people
and they are disobeying God, so they can be used and damaged by the enemy-the devil. Some are in bad circumstances,
like the women in porn- they are often victims of abuse, they're hurting and damaged & they are often drug addicts- be
honest and look at it as Jesus said to! As if it were you- they arent there for enjoyment, they are there for some money(prostitutes)
Lets face the fact, they aren't doing it FOR
YOU. They'd prefer you not looking at them in that part if their life- its really private- its like, would you like to walk
down the street naked showing all and doing things; with people looking on?- if you honestly would, and think it ok- why not
try it tomorrow.
So look at things like Jesus said: would you like to be on display- I'd say NOT. Well then don't put
them on display before you, but cover them up. Jesus said we are to clothe the naked- do to to others what you would want
people to do to you. So start to love- it doesn't harm or expose its neighbor- so don't you.A Christian in the Bible also
says flee/run from immorality-get away from it QUICK!- its path is very damaging to you and others. Escape before its too
late. like ZJesus said, if your eye does wrong all the time, pull it out, you'd be better off without the eye in heaven than
being in hell. so repent(stop sinning) Now!
